Christmas Eve armed robbery at 7-Eleven under investigation

Suffolk Police are investigating a Christmas Eve armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located in the 1200 block of Portsmouth Boulevard.

The suspect entered the store at about 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 24 with a handgun and demanded money, police said in a news release. The suspect obtained an unknown amount of money then fled the scene on foot. 

There were no reported injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and there is no further information available for release.
