Angela “Angie” Ruth Nicholson, 62, of Windsor, passed away on Dec. 23, 2022. She was born in Newport News, the daughter of the late Rev. James R. Nicholson and Barbara V. Anderson Nicholson. 

Angie is survived by her brothers, Scott A. Nicholson (Amy) and Timothy W. Nicholson; her daughter, Michelle Kennard (David) and three grandchildren. Angie loved animals and she was a big supporter of animal rescue. Her beloved dog Sunny and her six pet birds were well-loved and brought joy to her life. 

Angie was a master crochet artisan who loved making dolls and doll clothing. After moving to Windsor, Angie attended Windsor Christian Church and was an active member there. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at Windsor Christian Church in Windsor.
