Mary Elizabeth Parker, 99, of Suffolk, passed away on Tuesday, Ja. 17, 2023. She is the daughter of the late Blainey and Elberta Murphy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Benton Parker; son, William Parker; great-grandson, Gabriel Benjamin Kowalski; and great-great-grandson, Makhi Kenneth Minton. 

Left to cherish her memory is her son, David Parker (Judy); daughters, Nancy Parker (Jim), Joan Harrell (Glenn), and Jean Saunders (Carl); 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Suffolk Christian Church, 216 N. Main St., with a reception to follow. A graveside service will be held following the reception at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
