June Swanner Munford was born Sept. 9, 1940, to Henry and Helen Swanner in Norfolk. Survivors include her husband, Moody E. Munford; children, Rebecca Leach of Currituck, North Carolina, Kevin Squires and Keith Squires of Virginia Beach; stepsons, Al Munford of Sedley and Steve Munford of Franklin; sisters, Joyce Ruscher of Colorado and Carol Davis of Virginia Beach; brother, James L. Swanner of The Villages of Florida. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family is receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at H.D.
