The second annual womanless beauty pageant “Heels for Healing” is Saturday, April 1 at the Hub 757, 6801 Bridgeway Dr.

Proceeds from this year’s event go to the Martina Natoli Lagman Foundation, founded in memory of Martina Natoli Lagman who lost her fight against cystic fibrosis after two double lung transplants in April 2021. She had just celebrated her 30th birthday in the intensive care unit at Duke hospital and gained her angel wings soon after.  

Martina’s family and friends vowed to keep her memory alive by instituting the Martina Natoli Lagman Foundation which provides scholarships for those affected by cystic fibrosis and funding life-saving medications for those with cystic fibrosis. 

These manly men will dress up in evening wear, high heel shoes, fake eyelashes and put on their makeup to provide epic laughs to all who attend. 

Along with the pageant, those attending will be served a meal provided by Carrabba’s, and enjoy a cocktail cash bar, an amazing silent auction and 50-50 raffle.

Tickets are $40 a person until March 15 then they go up to $50 a person.
