Traffic delays are expected for several hours at the intersection of Constance Road and Main Street.

Suffolk Police said they responded  at 11:50 a.m. today to the scene of a hit and run involving a tractor trailer and Dominion Energy pole at there.

Due to the damage to the power pole, police said travel in the area has been restricted. Traffic delays can be expected for several hours while the repairs are being completed,  police said in a news release. 

Suffolk Public Works personnel are currently coordinating detours to assist with vehicular travel in the area.

This incident is currently under investigation.
