Three injured, property damaged in Thursday night shooting

Three people were injured by gunfire Thursday night in the 100 block of South 10th Street.

Suffolk 911 Center received several calls for service for shots fired at about 8:55 p.m. Thursday, April 19.  The 911 Center also received a call for several people suffering gunshot wounds.  

When Suffolk Police officers arrived on scene, they discovered two residences, a car and three people were injured, according to a department news release.

The injured victims were two adult females and one adult male all suffering from gunshot wounds. Suffolk Fire/EMS treated all three victims on scene and transported them to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials said in a later update that all three were treated and release from local hospitals.

All three victims were occupants of the same residence, police said.

No occupants of the second residence were injured. Multiple shell casings were located on the scene.

There is currently no suspect information, police said in the release.  The investigation remains ongoing at this time, and officials said there is no further information available for release.
