Six displaced by Woodshire Way residential fire Tuesday

Suffolk Fire and Rescue responded to the 2000 block of Woodshire Way late Tuesday for reports of a residential structure fire.
Crews arrived to find heavy fire and smoke conditions inside the garage with limited access Tuesday, May 9.
The residents evacuated prior to the arrival of fire units.
The fire was marked under control at 11:56 p.m. There were no reported injuries.
Five adults and one child were displaced. The Red Cross is assisting them with housing.
The cause is still under investigation.
