Phillip Earl “Honey Bear, Phil, S2” Parks, 69, of Suffolk passed away on May 21, 2023, in his home.

Phillip was born in Franklin to the late Robert Louis Parks and Rosa Lassiter Parks on March 13, 1954.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Katie Parks of Suffolk; daughter, Tiffany Zimmerman of Newport News; sons, Joshua Parks of Suffolk and Milton Shambley of Newport News and brother, Donald Parks (wife Diane) of Chesapeake.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, May 26, at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Tom Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.  A time of visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 25. Condolences may be registered online at parrfuneralhome.com.
