Marian Wells, 80, of William Reed Drive transitioned Saturday, May 27, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Marion was a 1961 graduate of Jackson P. Burley High School in Charlottesville. She later proceeded in a retail career where she retired from Shoe Show in Ahoskie, N.C.

Marion was predeceased by her son, Joseph Wells Jr. and a grandson, Timothy Matthew Wells Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and loyal son, Timothy Wells Sr. and wife, Angelia of

Suffolk; sister, Edith Earl; brothers, Stanley Early and Bennie Early of Stanardsvlle; grandchildren, Tia Wells, Cordero Hardy, Mya Wells, Karisha Wells and Jalisa Wells; six great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be private, as she will be laid to rest in her hometown of Stanardsville.

The family will receive friends at the home of Timothy and Angela Wells, 1308 Shelton Court, Suffolk.
