Barbara J. Jenkins, 93, of Suffolk, passed away at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 7, 2023. She was the daughter of the late, William and Opal Egbert. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Owen M. Jenkins.

She was a very active member at West End Baptist Church helping with their food drives and receptions. Barbara also enjoyed volunteering at the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her children, Pam Baldwin (C.B.), Cheryl Sawyer and William Jenkins; grandchildren, Jonathon and Ashley Carr, Jason and Kelly Sawyer; great-grandchildren, Kayla Carr, Owen Sawyer and Ethan Lee; nieces, Barbara Lynn DeGast and Carol Anne Pascal; as well as special friends, John Cross III and his wife, Lynn Moon.
