Fueled by an inspired performance by Brittany Evans’ 19 points and 14 rebounds, the Lady Warriors dropped Oscar Smith 49-26 Friday.

Evans went on a 12-0 run by herself late in the fourth quarter to help Nansemond River improve to 13-1 on the season. Jordin Richardson also chipped in 15 points and Micheala Ingram added 5 points. The Lady Warrior defense was led by Aaniya Custis with 15 rebounds, held the Lady Tigers to just 8 points in the second half.

The Lady Warriors travel to Franklin on Saturday, with tip-off scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
