Mary Lou Kennedy, 92, of Suffolk, Va passed away on Monday, September, 9, 2024. She was the daughter of William and Brookie Matney. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Hatfield; four brothers; two sisters; daughter in law, Nancy Hatfield; and stepdaughter, Rita Dryer.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Grover Kennedy; son, Lester Hatfield; grandchildren, Karen Hatfield, Karla Sraver (Brant), William Hatfield (Kristin Jacobs) and Steve Gray; great grandchildren, Austin Sraver, Avery Sraver, Raylan Hatfield, Matthew Jacobs, Treslyn Hatfield, Ian Gray, Eli Gray, and Dylan Gray.

She will be missed dearly by her family for her loving personality.

Services are private. Burial will take place at Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk, VA. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Downtown Suffolk Chapel is serving the family.
