Shooting victim found on Amazon property in Chesapeake

According to a media release, at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Dec. 9, Chesapeake Police were called to the 5000 block of Portsmouth Boulevard in reference to a shooting. When police arrived, they located an adult male who had been shot in his vehicle. The male was transported to a local hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the release, the initial investigation indicates that the male was not shot on Amazon property and moved to the property after being shot. Police are still attempting to determine if the shooting victim is employed with Amazon. According to police, there is no suspect information, and the incident is still being actively investigated.
