Glo Fiber is making its mark in Suffolk, with its grand opening celebration scheduled for Thursday, Feb.13, at 11 a.m.

Mayor Mike Duman will be present to cut the ribbon at the new location, 2815 Godwin Blvd, Unit I-2.

Glo Fiber’s business model uses fiber-to-home technology to deliver high-speed internet to homes. This is supported by Shentel’s extensive 16,000-mile regional fiber network. The company’s technology allows for low latency and reliable internet service.

Beyond internet, Glo Fiber offers phone service, video service, and Whole-Home Wi-Fi.

The new physical location provides a storefront where customers can visit during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the first Saturday of each month. The store will be closed on Wednesday of the same week that it is open on Saturday.
