Hannah Holland, a resident of Suffolk, graduated from The University of Tampa on Dec. 13, 2024, earning a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science-Biology. The commencement ceremony took place at the Martinez Athletics Center on the university’s campus.

The University of Tampa’s 159th commencement honored 982 graduates, including 688 bachelor’s degree candidates and 294 master’s degree candidates. The ceremony featured remarks by President Teresa Abi-Nader Dahlberg, biology professor Eric Freundt, and the student challenge speaker.

Hannah’s academic journey included recognition on the dean’s list during her studies. She is an alumna of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.
