SUFFOLK, VA (February 26, 2025) The City of Suffolk’s Public Works Department is excited to announce the launch of a new, user-friendly dashboard providing information on all ongoing and upcoming Public Works Capital Improvement Projects (CIPs) across the city. This innovative tool aims to increase transparency, improve public engagement, and keep residents informed about the vital infrastructure improvements happening throughout Suffolk.
The dashboard includes an interactive map that displays the location and key details of each public works capital project. It offers information on project status, estimated timelines, budgets, and links to each project’s webpage, where users can access additional details such as plans, photos, latest announcements, and more.
“Our new dashboard serves as a one-stop hub for all things related to public works capital improvement projects in Suffolk,” said Robert Lewis, Director of Public Works. “We are committed to keeping our community informed, and this new tool will allow residents to easily track the progress of important projects and better understand their impact.”
The dashboard is available on the City of Suffolk’s website, www.suffolkva.us/CIP
The user-friendly interface ensures that anyone, from residents to contractors and business owners, can easily find detailed information about specific projects in their neighborhoods.Â
