Judy Joyner Grefe

Judy Joyner Grefe, 81, of Suffolk, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband Norman A Grefe, Jr. and is survived by her son Norman A. Grefe, III and daughter Mary Elizabeth Baugh and her husband Chris Baugh.  Judy was born on June 22, 1943 and was a lifelong resident of Nansemond County and Suffolk and lived most of her life on the farm where she was raised. She had a passion for gardening and assisted her husband with a family-operated greenhouse and plant business for more than thirty years. She also had an appreciation for nature and loved to watch birds coming and going at the feeders. She was known especially for her kindness;  how she treated others is one of the shining elements of her legacy. The family would like to extend their most sincere appreciation to staff at Nans Pointe Assisted Living and Trinity Hospice for their care and compassion.

An opportunity to visit with Judy Grefe’s family will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home, located at 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Virginia.
