Delbert D. Warren peacefully entered into rest on March 13, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Robert and Ann Elizabeth Warren, and brother of the late Melvin R. Warren.
Delbert was born on January 24, 1940 in Holland, VA. As a young man, Delbert enjoyed farming, fishing in the Outer Banks, and was an avid bird hunter. He graduated from Holland High School in 1958, and through his working career he held positions at Newport News Shipbuilding, and later Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where he retired in 2013 with 38 years of service. He was a Lieutenant in the Army National Guard and was a past Master of McAlister Lodge 185, and past District Deputy Grand Master of the 33rd Masonic District.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 60 years, Barbara Warren, his children Delbert D. Warren, Jr (Adele) and Kimberly S. Warren (Pat), his two grandchildren Amanda and Emily Warren and many extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank Southampton Memorial Hospital, East Pavilion and Geneva Hospice Care, who provided excellent and attentive service to Delbert and much comfort to the family.
