Suffolk Police did arrive on scene, but no other staff or students were harmed. The email states there was no weapon involved.

“The school administration implemented the hold as a precautionary measure to ensure the situation remained contained and that all individuals on campus stayed safe,” reads the email.

According to a media release from Suffolk Police, SPD responded to the school in reference to a person with a weapon call following a fight between two students. However, the release states no weapon was found, and the school was given the all-clear at 12:15 p.m. following a sweep of the interior and exterior of the building.
