Betty Joann (Hinebaugh) Brinegar, 84, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2025. She was born in Mount Morris, PA in her beloved Grandparent’s home. She is predeceased by her “Sweetheart” husband Thomas “Buck” Owen Brinegar of 57 years. The daughter of the late Morris “Jimmy” Francis and Mary Irene (Howard) Hinebaugh and granddaughter to the late Gleason “Pap” and Pleasie Jane (Fox) Howard.

Betty was a devoted, loving wife, mother, and grandmother and later pursued a degree in accounting. She was a loyal steward to God and His church. She is survived by her cherished brother James “Butch” Gleason Hinebaugh (Jan) and dearest cousin Ruth “Ruthy” Ann Renner.

Children: Thomas Owen Brinegar III (Susie), Mary Ann Davis (Jack), Crystal Dawn Brown (Cleveland)

Grandchildren: Thomas Owen Brinegar IV, James Robert Wagner, Kristen Evette Brown, Kristopher Owen Brown, Jon Ryan Wagner, Bridget Atleson, Joseph Randall Wagner

Great Grandchildren: Logan Riley Brown, Kierstynn Faith Wagner, Jenna Elizabeth Atleson, Lexi Grace Atleson, Chelsea Lynn Atleson, Olivia Rae Atleson, Evie Jo Wagner, Isla Marie Moats, Phoenix Worthington Brown. 

She was Pentecostal on earth and now in heaven and a long-time member of Calvary Assembly of God in Virginia Beach and later a member of Suffolk Church of God and Churchland Assembly of God. 

Mom’s favorite scripture: Proverbs 10:22. The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Viewing and visitation will be held Monday, March 31, 6-7PM at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 1, at 11AM. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com
