Lisa Mojica of Suffolk has won a $1 million top prize in the Virginia Lottery’s 20X the Money game. She purchased the winning ticket at Dollar Delites, located at 6550 Hampton Roads Parkway in Suffolk. Mojica chose to receive the prize as an annuity over 30 years. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling the winning ticket.

Mojica, an engineer, has no immediate plans for her winnings. This was the sixth and final top prize claimed in the 20X the Money game, leading to its closure. The odds of winning the top prize were 1 in 1,958,400, and the overall odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.65.

All Virginia Lottery profits support K-12 education in the state. In the last fiscal year, Suffolk received more than $12 million in Lottery funds for K-12 education, contributing to the over $934 million raised statewide, which accounts for approximately 10 percent of Virginia’s total K-12 school budget.
