The Suffolk Sheriff’s Department visited four nursing homes last Friday on their Easter bunny trail. At Suffolk Autumn Care, Sheriff David Miles participated in an easter egg hunt with the residents. The Easter Bunny also made an appearance. Miles said he enjoys the bunny trail each year because of how much the nursing home residents enjoy it. “We still were able to put some smiles on faces, and at the end of it all, the smiles are what makes it worthwhile,” he said. The Sheriff’s Department also visited Northern Cardinal Nursing Home, Lake Prince Woods, and Nansemond Point.
