Suffolk, VA – North Suffolk Library will be temporarily closed for essential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance from Monday, May 5, through Wednesday, May 7, 2025. During this time, the library will be unable to provide services to the public.

The closure is necessary to ensure the continued comfort and safety of library community members and staff. HVAC system updates are crucial for maintaining an optimal environment within the library. The library will reopen at regular hours on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Impacted Services:

• During the closure, all in-person services, including borrowing materials, public computer access, and library programs, will be unavailable.
• Online services like digital book lending and e-resources will remain accessible through the library’s website.

Morgan Memorial Library Hours
Monday–Thursday: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
Friday–Saturday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

Chuckatuck Library Hours
Monday: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
Tuesday–Sunday: Closed

Morgan Memorial Library is located at 443 West Washington Street, North Suffolk Library is located at 2000 Bennetts Creek Park Road, and Chuckatuck Library is located at 5881 Godwin Boulevard.
