Lady Knights capture soccer championship; boys’ volleyball secures third place

Suffolk Christian Academy (SCA) celebrated a standout performance at the MACAA Spring Tournament on May 1–2, with its girls’ soccer and boys’ volleyball teams delivering impressive results.
The Lady Knights clinched the 1A MACAA Girls’ Soccer Championship, capping an exceptional season with a 9–1–1 overall record and finishing first in the All-Conference standings. Their dominant play throughout the season was a testament to their dedication and teamwork.
Several players received individual accolades for their outstanding contributions:
- Rachel Cornette: All-Conference Goalie and All-Tournament Goalie
- Harper Sullivan: All-Conference and All-Tournament MVP
- Emery Garza: All-Conference and All-Tournament
- Kennedy Oparaji: All-Conference
Head Coach Ricky Garza praised his team’s commitment: “These girls brought energy, passion, and heart to every game. Their championship win is well-deserved, and I couldn’t be prouder.”
On the boys’ side, the Knights’ volleyball team concluded their season with a strong third-place finish in the MACAA Tournament, showcasing consistent performance and resilience.
