McDonald’s will host a grand opening celebration for its newest restaurant at 3179 Godwin Blvd. on Wednesday, June 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature discounted menu items, giveaways, family-friendly activities, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Hampton Roads Chamber.

Customers can enjoy hamburgers for 79 cents and cheeseburgers for 89 cents, with a limit of four per person. Attendees participating in the Round-Up for Ronald McDonald House Charities will receive a free cold cup sleeve. A prize wheel will offer chances to win items such as free Big Macs for a year and tickets to Busch Gardens. The Hamburglar character will make a live appearance, and US106.1 America’s Country will broadcast on-site.
