Catherine Eley Diggs transitioned from this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025 in Newport News, Va. On Friday, June 13, 2025 viewing will take place from 3-6pm at Shivers Funeral Chapel.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Shivers Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor, VA.
