Judy Bolton Moger

Judy Bolton Moger, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and lifelong resident of the Crittenden-Eclipse community in Suffolk, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025. She was 87 years old.

A proud graduate of Suffolk High School and the Louise Obici School of Nursing, Judy dedicated her life to caring for others—both professionally and personally. Her warmth, compassion, and quiet strength were evident to all who knew her.

She was a longtime member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and an active member of the Junto Women’s Club and the Laurel Garden Club, where she nurtured both friendships and a deep love of community.

Judy had a special appreciation for all things unique and beautiful. She especially cherished time spent with her husband collecting oyster plates and antiques. She took great pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow, encouraging their dreams, and creating warm, lasting memories through holidays, vacations, family traditions, and everyday moments filled with laughter and love.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Willard S. Moger Jr. She is survived by her sister, June Beale, and brother-in-law, Mike; her son, Jeffrey Moger, and wife, Audrey; her daughter, Robin Nelhuebel, and husband, Kevin; her grandsons, Kitt and Ty Moger, and Kyle Nelhuebel; and her granddaughter, Jana Nelhuebel. She leaves behind a legacy of love, grace, and quiet strength that will continue to inspire all who knew her—“you better believe it!”

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Red Cross, either monetary or in the form of blood donations.

She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. A private family service was held on June 11, and Judy was interred at Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk.
