Inez Goodwyn, 1235 Sierra Drive, departed this earthly life on Jan. 6, 2011.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ned and Lola B. Little Newsome, and her Husband, James T. Goodwyn Sr., a brother, Willie Goodwyn Jr., and a sister, Sarah Whitley .
Her survivors include: her six daughters, Annette Vaughan (Alvester), Lola Smith (Willie), Mary Harris (David), Jeanette Riddick (Joseph), Vanessa Goodwyn (Ricardo), and Lisa Jones (Gerrell); one son, James T. Goodwyn Jr., 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Funeral of Triumph will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12 at St. Mary’s COGIC on Nansemond Parkway. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Jeanette Riddick, 1423 Pinto Court.
Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home-going service.
