Mary Frances Eason Taylor, 69, of 1827 Womack Drive, Newport News, Va., died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at her residence. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Nelton E. Tillery Eason and Willie A. Eason Sr. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James A. Eason and Richard C. Eason.

She was a graduate of East Suffolk High School. She was a caregiver to the elderly. Mary was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Miriam F. Taylor, of Newport News, Va., and Myesha S. Taylor Weaver (Quinton), of Hampton, Va.; devoted sister and caregiver, Helyn Eason, of Hampton, Va., Lorraine Eason, Lula Eason Little (LeRoy), both of Newport News, and Christine Eason Edwards (Richmond), of Suffolk; four brothers, Willie A. Eason Jr., Dexter L. Eason (Linda), John S. Eason (Sarah), all of Suffolk, Robert Lee Eason (Diane), of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren, ChauKeir Taylor, DeZhane Jefferson, ReMya Weaver, ShaQuin Weaver; aunts, Eugene Eason and Rendy Veal; brother-in-law, Charlie Taylor (Ruby); sister-in-law, Barbara Deloatch; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Tabernacle Baptist Outreach Center. Interment in Eason Family Cemetery, Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
