Cornell J. Cypress Sr., 75, of Ivor, Va., died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Sentara Obici Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Gilfield Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Kenneth Ricks. A visitation will be at Gilfield Baptist Church from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements.
