Linda Babb Hedgepeth, 68, of Suffolk, Va., passed away on Oct. 31, 2012. She was born in Suffolk, Va., the daughter of the late John H. and Elizabeth S. Babb. She worked for Birdsong Peanut Company.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Hope Stokes; sons, Ernest Hedgepeth and Everette Hedgepeth; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way; brother, Billy Babb.

A funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with the Rev. Stewart McCarter officiating. Friends may join the family Sunday night from 7 to 8 p.m. for a time of visitation at the funeral home. Donations and flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
