Johnie Alphonso Williams, the eldest son of nine siblings, was born on July 13, 1951 to the late William Alphonso Williams and Juanita Elizabeth Faulk Williams in Marianna, Pa.

On Nov. 9, 2012, God changed his address from the Norfolk Healthcare Facility to his “Heavenly Home.” A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Shivers Funeral Chapel. A viewing on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the chapel. Arrangements by Shivers Funeral Chapel Smithfield.
