To the editor:

How dare the Suffolk City Council increase the city manager’s annual salary by 14 percent!

I am not the only citizen of this city who is completely disgusted by City Council members’ lack of empathy regarding those of this city who have been denied substantial increases for their services.

I can assure you that in four years we will be looking elsewhere for new people to represent us, our city and our best interests.
