Ellen Louise Morris Bennett, 65, passed away Jan. 25, 2013.

She was born in Suffolk, the daughter of the late Hilda Johnson Morris and Benjamin Franklin Morris.

Ellen is survived by her husband of 44 years Floyd Allen Bennett; daughters, Paula B. Jodun and husband Glenn E. Jodun, Jr. and Cheryl Lynn Bennett; grandsons, Glenn E. Jodun III and Paul A. Jodun, all of Suffolk; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laverne M. Eure of Suffolk, Nancy M. and Herman Wiggins & Betty M. and Mark Brinkley of Gates, N.C., and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Raymond Hampton officiating. Friends may join the family Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. for visitation.
