Following are this week’s Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week nominees:

• Bo Lawrence, King’s Fork soccer — He assisted a goal and then fired off three goals of his own in the last nine minutes of a 5-0 victory over Green Run High School on Wednesday.
• Trevor Riggs, Nansemond River baseball — He came up big for his team late in the game against Indian River High School on Thursday. He threw a strikeout to get his team back on offense and hit a double that launched a come-from-behind rally to win the game.
• Sami Gizara, Lakeland softball — She went 4-for-4 with two runs batted in against Oscar Smith High School to lead the Lady Cavaliers to a 12-0 rout.
• Jacob Edwards, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy lacrosse — He led his team with five goals on Friday en route to a 14-1 trouncing of First Flight High School.
