“We want to get people excited about fishing,” Danette Culpepper said. “We like to keep it simple. You give a man a fish, he can eat for a day; you teach him how to fish, he can eat for a lifetime.”

Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment but are not required to.

The session will be sponsored by the Bill Wills Southeast Virginia Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Wills will be joined by Bill Campbell, John Kelly and Jack Spillane to provide the instruction.

The start time on Saturday will be 10 a.m. at 1805 Pitchkettle Road. For more information or directions contact Culpepper Boats at Lake Cohoon/Meade at 397-4215 or email Campbell at flytyer53@hotmail.com or John Kelly at beachkelly@verizon.net.
