BriAnna Bivins will begin technical school at Fort Sam Houston in Texas in September. Her major is medical technician.

After the completion of technical school, she will return to her home base at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

She was an honor graduate from Lakeland High School in 2010 and captain of her majorette squad from 2008 to 2010. She was named to the dean’s list at Hampton University in 2010.

Bivins is the daughter of the late Junior Bivins Jr. and Monica Ricks Bivins. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Junior and Rosa Bivins and Joyce Ricks Jones.
