The Suffolk Christian Academy boys’ basketball team was not able to stay within striking distance Monday night against visiting conference foe Gateway Christian School, losing 62-28.

Despite the loss, junior guard Eric Habecker continued to show promise for the Knights, leading them with 10 points, while senior center Noah Nickert added seven.

Suffolk Christian (1-2, 0-2) will host Chesapeake Bay Academy on Tuesday.
