Glover signs with UVA-Wise

Isle of Wight Academy alumna Hailey Glover has signed a national letter of intent to play softball at the University of Virginia College at Wise.
Glover was a four-year starter as a pitcher and at first base for the Chargers before graduating in June.
Her career pitching record was 37-8 with an ERA of 1.073. Her career batting average was .437.

“We are proud of Hailey and want to congratulate her on her accomplishments,” said Chris Hooper, IWA softball coach and assistant headmaster.
U.Va.-Wise, where Glover is currently enrolled, is an NCAA Division II institution and a public, four-year residential college in the mountains of Southwestern Virginia.
Founded in 1954, it is the only branch campus of the University of Virginia and enrolls some 2,000 students.
