John Henry Eley Jr., 64, of 7294 Abraham Court, Newport News, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at his residence.

He was a native of Suffolk and the son of Leola B. Eley and the late John H. Eley Sr.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at Antioch United Church of Christ officiated by the Rev. Jarvis Jones, pastor. Interment will be held at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
