Celia Pilar Sotomayor Green, 84, passed away on March 27, 2015. She was a native of Camoy, Puerto Rico, and the daughter of the late Ramón and Serafina Sotomayor.

Celia was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and O.E.S. No. 137.

She is survived by her children, George Green III, of Florida, and Griselle G. Stevens, of Suffolk; sister, Noemi Sotomayor, of New York; brother, Ramon Sotomayor, of New Jersey; grandchildren, Melissa Armitage, of Virginia Beach, and Meghan White, of Suffolk; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery with the Rev. Matthew Winters officiating.
