Man charged with 7 crimes

A man who barricaded himself in his house Saturday when police tried to apprehend him has been charged with seven crimes in Suffolk and Portsmouth.
Meshack Lee, 29, of the 100 block of Grayson Court, was arrested when he walked outside after a three-hour standoff with police. He was wanted on numerous charges, including the armed robbery of an Exxon station in Suffolk.
He has been charged with armed robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, conspiracy to commit a felony and grand larceny in Suffolk. In Portsmouth, police charged him with grand larceny of an auto, eluding police and destruction of property.
