SUFFOLK — Kim Shanet Holmes, 38, of 142 Charles St., Suffolk, passed away Dec. 4, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a member of the House of Prayer, Gatesville, N.C., and served in the Youth Department.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Rosemary Holmes, of Suffolk, and James Davis Tole, of Ohio; two sisters, Cory Holmes and Brandy Stewart; one brother, Shawn Holmes, all of Suffolk; and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at noon Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 at Crocker Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Mary L. Luster. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
