George “Spunk” Lafayette Gwaltney III, 77, passed away Jan. 27, 2009.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Newman Memorial Cemetery behind Oakland Christian Church with the Rev. Mark Burns officiating. Friends may join the family Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va. Masonic Rites will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday evening.
