Mary Johnson Canipe, 75, of Suffolk, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 7, 2009.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim George and the Rev. Douglas Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va., and other times at the residence.
