Jim in the early hours of Feb. 25, 2009, our beloved brother, friend, and mentor was reunited with his dear mother and father in Heaven, Hazel G. and William J. Nelson Sr. Jim was a talented artist, designer and humanitarian. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him or knew of him.
Jim left behind four sisters: Wanda McClenney and husband, “Buddy”; Linda K. Cobb and friend, “Hounder” Cobb; Beverly N. Beamon and husband, Doug; Shelby L. Pittard and husband, “Daddy Mack” (as Bubba affectionately referred to him) and their families; his beloved “pet Ened”; life long friends Norman Goodman and Steven Brock.
