SUFFOLK — Charles “Beasley” Davis O’Neal Sr., 84, passed away March 24, 2009 at Sentara Obici Hospital. A native of Portsmouth, he was the widower of Ernestine O’Neal and son of the late Fred O’Neal and Halle Williams. He retired from the Naval Air Station, Norfolk.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Charlotte O’Neal-Ayeni, of Denver, Colo.; his son, Charles Davis O’Neal Jr., of Portsmouth; a grandson, Kambiz Ayeni, of Long Beach, Calif.; a great-grandson, Skyler M. Hines, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at Crocker Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Viola Parker. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
