David Lee Holland Jr., formerly of Suffolk, Va., died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Georgia after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late David Lee Holland Sr. and Agnus Allen. He was also predeceased by his son, Ricky Holland.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Holland; eight children, Stephanie Lynch, Terry, David Lee Holland III, Omar Holland, Tracy Holland, Dwayne Holland, Douglas Holland and James Holland; 23 grandchildren; five sisters, Shirley Givens, Julia Rawlings, Beulah Johnson, Ann Ashburn, Missouri Warren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
