A Suffolk man is being held without bond at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail following his arrest on Sunday on charges that he took indecent liberties with a minor.

James Lee Norman, 50, of White Marsh Road is charged with nine counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor and nine counts of aggravated sexual battery, according to Suffolk spokeswoman Debbie George.

George said the victim was the victim and the suspect knew each other prior to the alleged incidents.
